Baliff, take him away before my trigger finger gets itchy.

Representative Steve King (R-IA) offered on 11/9/05, amendment 624 to House Resolution 1751 that will allow certain officers of the Department of Justice to carry a firearm. The House agreed to this amendment by voice vote on the same day.

This is directly from the amendment:

AMENDMENT PURPOSE:
An amendment numbered 8 printed in House Report 109-279 toallow any justice or judge of the United States, any judge of a court created under article I of the United States Constitution, any bankruptcy judge, any magistrate judge, any United States Attorney, and any other officer or employee of the Department of Justice whose duties include representing the U.S. in a court of law, to carry firearms subject to training and regulation as prescribed by the Attorney General.

So, with that said, don't piss off a judge.

Rep King has offered a number of interesting pieces of legislation. Most notable: HJ.RES.16. This was proposed on Febuary 1, 2005, to repeal Article 16 of the Constitution which allows the taxation of income. Good job Mr. King! (Of course this has been buried in the Subcommittee on the Constitution since March 2, 2005.)
