Senate Staffer, Emilia DiSanto, Brutally Attacked

Emilia DiSanto, chief investigator for the Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA), was attacked at her home in Virginia last Wednesday by a masked man dressed in black. The FBI is not ruling out a "work-related" motive in the attack. DiSanto is one currently investigating Jack Abramoff.

Click here for background on Abramoff and the investigations that are looking into his actions. Of special note is the Guam Grand Jury investigation which George W. Bush shut down himself. It is rumored that had that jury sent Abramoff to trial, Bush would have been implicated as well.
